Down to Earth Day | 10/10/26 | 12p-4p

Sale Price: $39.00 Original Price: $49.00

A celebration of Ohio’s wild foods, native plants, and the people who love them.

Ohio is often overlooked. We’re sometimes called a “boring” state but if you spend a little time exploring, and it doesn’t take long to discover just how beautiful, wild, and abundant Ohio really is.

From the plants growing along our trails to the food growing all around us, Ohio has an incredible abundance of wild edible foods. Down to Earth Day is our way of celebrating it.

Rather than a traditional 2–4 hour foraging class, Down to Earth Day is an opportunity to slow down, explore, learn, eat, listen to music, and connect with the natural world and with the people around us.

We’ll gather just 45 minutes north of Columbus at the beautiful Natives in Harmony Native Plant Nursery for a full day centered around Ohio’s wild foods and the ecosystems that make them possible.

Your ticket includes:

Scheduled guided plant walks
Explore the nursery and surrounding landscape while learning to identify and understand Ohio’s wild edible plants.

A foraged-inspired menu of food & drink
Experience the flavors of wild Ohio through food and drinks inspired by locally foraged ingredients.

Live music
Enjoy live music throughout the day while you explore, eat, and connect.

Drop-in nature-based activities
Get curious, get your hands dirty, and explore a variety of activities designed to help you connect with the natural world.

Most importantly, Down to Earth Day is about community.

It’s about spending a little less time behind screens and a little more time outside. About learning the names of the plants growing around us. About discovering that the place we call home is far more interesting than we might have realized.

Come spend a day getting to know Ohio—and the wild foods that call it home.

Location: 4652 Township Rd 179, Marengo, OH 43334
