This Introduction to mushroom hunting online class will be led by Orion of Forage Colorado and Hosted by Lorenzo Cooks.
Orion Studied Natural Resource Management and Fisheries Biology at Colorado State University and has been teaching foraging classes since 2015. While Orion is based in Colorado, much of his knowledge will be valuable no matter where you live.
We have teamed up to offer a beginner mushroom foraging class to encourage mushroom curious folks, to begin their journey!
This class is for you if want to learn:
The basics of identifying mushrooms.
How to safely sustainability forage for mushrooms.
Legality and best practices around mushroom foraging.
Easy techniques for cooking and storing mushrooms.
If you can not attend live, everyone who buys a ticket will be emailed a recording of the class to watch on their own time.
