Franklin Park Conservatory Foraging Class

  • Franklin Park Conservatory 1777 East Broad Street Columbus, OH, 43203 United States (map)

Learn how to be a better steward of the Earth by learning more about the plants that inhabit it this Earth Day!

Join Forager and Chef, Lorenzo Tavani for a foraging plant walk around the Franklin Park Conservatory Community Garden Campus. Class will consist of an hour long, guided plant walk, focusing on edible plants growing at the park. Students can expect to feel more comfortable identifying wild plants, gain a better idea of how to become a better forager, build a deeper relationship to the natural world around us connecting us to the planet, and learn how to incorporate these wild foods into their everyday lives.

We will gather in the Wells Barn before beginning our walk. Please be prepared for a gentle guided walk around Conservatory grounds and have appropriate footwear.
