Join Chef Lorenzo for a Guided Plant and Mushroom Walk focusing on how to safely identify, harvest and prepare several wild foods. After our walk we will gather for a free wild food tasting, reflecting what we learned. We will not be harvesting wild plants (Metro Park Rules) but we will be using the park as an educational space.
What to expect:
Feel more comfortable identifying edible plants and mushrooms.
Spend time learning something meaningful with likeminded folks.
Commune over a free foraged and local to table food tasting.
Deepen your connection to food and the natural world.
